Our year unfolds across concours, tours, technical seminars and private dinners. All members are welcome; certain events are extended to invited guests.
Saturday, 14 May · Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire
A curated assembly of post-war chassis on the grand lawns of the estate, followed by a formal luncheon in the Picture Gallery. Judging by invitation of the Honourable Trustees.
Friday, 02 June · Derby Workshops
A masterclass on the restoration of Crewe-built hydraulic systems, led by master engineer Arthur Penhaligon. Bench notes provided.
Saturday, 22 July · Peak District
A 40-mile reliability run through the dales of Derbyshire, followed by afternoon tea at Chatsworth House. Pre-war chassis preferred but all marques welcome.
Sunday, 13 August · Burghley House, Stamford
Our flagship gathering. Over one hundred motor cars assembled in the West Park, judging across nine classes, regimental band, formal dinner in the Great Hall.
Saturday, 09 September · Rockingham Castle
A leisurely drive through the Welland Valley, ending with a sherry reception at Rockingham Castle and a tour of the private motor collection.
Friday, 08 December · The Bell, Stilton
Black tie. The annual closing dinner of the Section, with the President's address, the toast to absent members and the presentation of the Royce Trophy.
